Community Outreach

Concerted Works brings live music directly into the communities we serve — creating opportunities for connection, learning, and shared cultural experiences.

Through free performances, educational programs, and partnerships with local venues, our outreach initiatives make professional music accessible to audiences who might otherwise face geographic or financial barriers. By supporting working musicians and welcoming audiences of all ages, we help strengthen the cultural life of our region.

The Otsego Music Trail (OMT) is Concerted Works’ flagship outreach program, presenting professional live music throughout Otsego County through a network of free public performances in libraries, galleries, community centers, nursing homes, and other welcoming spaces.

Beginning in November 2025 and continuing through May 2026, the OMT bridges a real gap in our rural region — bringing high-quality performances directly into the heart of our towns and neighborhoods.

Our venue partners are central to this work. Each participating library, church, gallery, or community center opens its doors and anchors the OMT within its community. Their partnership is every bit as vital as donor support, ensuring that live music reaches audiences where they gather, learn, and connect.
